Maxion Wheels Announces Executive Leadership Appointments

Königswinter, Germany, January 2, 2024 Maxion Wheels, the world’s largest wheel manufacturer, announced today several appointments for the company’s executive Leadership Team reporting to Chief Executive Officer, Pieter Klinkers.

Promoted to Business Unit President for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region is Mark Gerardts. Gerardts, previously Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing replaces, Juan Lorenzo, who after 38 years with the company will retire, remaining available to support in the capacity of Global Operations Advisor.

Promoted to Chief Commercial Officer is Giorgio Mariani. Previously Vice President of Global Supply Chain, Mariani retains his supply chain responsibilities and assumes the additional responsibilities of Global Sales.

Promoted to Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is Nuket Ozgur. Previously EMEA Business Unit Controller and Director of Global Finance Planning and Analysis. Ozgur replaces Peter Stabel, CFO since 2018 and now retiring after more than 20 years with the company.
