San Luis Potosi, Mexico and it's striking 16th Century architectural landmarks and state-of-the art sports, cultural and recreational areas is home to Maxion Wheels' light and commercial vehicle steel wheels plant. Opening in 1996, the plant is an employer of choice, including its long-standing commitment to FORMARE, the volunteer youth educational program designed to prepare select 17 and 18 year old students for a successful transition into the local industrial market.
The large wheel operation, with capacity to build more than seven millions wheels a year, spans more than 70,000 sq meters, serving a vast number of global OEMs including, Ford, FCA, Daimler, General Motors, Hyundai/Kia and many others.
