New offering strengthens Maxion's position in South America, expanding customer choice across commercial vehicle applications
Maxion Wheels, one of the world’s leading wheel manufacturers, announced the introduction of its forged aluminum truck wheel portfolio in South America, marking another important milestone in the Company’s continued expansion of commercial vehicle wheel solutions. The new wheels will make their regional debut at Lat.Bus 2026 in booth A22, giving customers access to a broader portfolio that now includes both commercial vehicle steel and forged aluminum wheels from a single trusted supplier.
As bus and coach operators continue to seek opportunities to improve fuel efficiency and increase payload capacity, forged aluminum wheels have become an increasingly important solution for many applications. With the introduction of its forged aluminum wheel portfolio in South America, Maxion Wheels is bringing innovative commercial vehicle wheel solutions to the region while increasing flexibility for customers across the bus and coach segment.

The wheels are produced from premium-grade aluminum alloy and offer excellent resistance to fatigue and corrosion, helping maintain appearance and performance throughout their service life. Customers can choose from multiple finish options, including brushed, polished and the exclusive Maxion C-GUARD, the Company’s proprietary ceramic surface treatment designed to enhance protection and simplify maintenance.
The portfolio is available in key commercial vehicle wheel sizes, including 22.5x8.25, 22.5x9.00 and 22.5x11.75 wheel configurations. In addition, Maxion’s unique rim flange and bead seat design supports enhanced balance weight retention, offering greater flexibility for OEMs, fleets and service providers.
The forged aluminum wheels are produced at the newly established plant in Manisa, Türkiye – a joint venture investment with Inci Holding – using state-of-the-art manufacturing technology and processes. The product portfolio combines lightweight performance with the strength, durability and reliability required for real-world commercial vehicle operations.
