Maxion Wheels Joins Daimler Truck in Sustainability Project to Showcase Circularity in Commercial Vehicle Manufacturing

Königswinter, GERMANY, –

Maxion Wheels is supporting Daimler Truck’s vision for more sustainable commercial vehicle manufacturing by collaborating on a concept refuse collection truck that will be on display at IFAT Munich from May 4–7, 2026. The vehicle will showcase circular materials, resource efficiency, and innovation industrial processes.

As the wheel supplier for the project, Maxion Wheels is putting its sustainability know‑how into action. Through lightweight engineering, optimized designs, and advanced material science, including the use of both primary and recycled materials, its steel truck wheels will help cut emissions and shrink the vehicle’s carbon footprint.
