Maxion Wheels Recognizes 2023 Supplier of the Year and Green Wheel Award Winners

To achieve this, our high expectations for suppliers are tracked and measured through various tools.
To recognize those who meet these standards, Maxion Wheels is excited to announce the winners of the 2023 Supplier of the Year awards for each Business Unit.
In addition, in 2023 a new sustainability category, the “Green Wheel” award, has been introduced to honor suppliers who have shown extraordinary achievements in supporting Maxion's sustainability goals.

Supplier of the Year Americas: Axalta Coatings Systems (Brazil)
Axalta Coatings Systems Brazil, a subsidiary of a US multinational company, was founded in 2012 and employs 667 people in Guarulhos, Sao Paulo, Brazil. The company specializes in the development, manufacturing, and sale of liquid and powder coatings.

Supplier of the Year Asia: Henkel Adhesives Technologies India Private Limited (India)
Henkel Adhesives Technologies India Private Limited, a subsidiary of the German global organization Henkel based in Navi, Mumbai, India, was founded in 1999 and employs 1178 people. They provide Maxion Wheels with chemical materials for pre-treatment in the coating process and coolants in the forming process.

Supplier of the Year EMEA: Emil Frei GmbH & Co KG (FreiLacke) (Germany)
FreiLacke, a brand of Emil Frei GmbH & Co. KG from the Black Forest region in southern Germany. This family-owned company, now in its third generation since its founding in 1926, employs approx. 650 people across nine locations globally.

Green Wheel: Henkel Group (Germany)
Henkel is a German stock-listed company with operations in 79 countries globally and close to 50.000 employees. They are organized into two business units: Adhesive Technologies, which provides chemical materials such as adhesives, sealants, and functional coatings for various industries, and Consumer Brands, which includes hair care products, laundry detergents, fabric softeners, and more.
