Maxion Wheels Sedalia, Mo. Plant Ramping Up for Significant Growth
Recruiting for more than 60 new team members to serve diverse new wheel programs
Maxion Wheels, the world’s largest wheel manufacturer, today announced it is recruiting for more than 60 new team members for its Sedalia, Missouri steel wheels operation in response to major new business awarded to the plant.
“The Maxion Wheels Sedalia plant is very excited to add three new and diverse wheel programs to its portfolio,” Scott Woolery, Sedalia Plant Manager, Maxion Wheels, said. “It’s been a few years since the plant received such an influx of new business; truly a reflection of how competitive we are, and how steel is growing as a wheel solution for the dynamic changes taking place in mobility and transportation. With the new programs, we are adding electric vehicle wheels, military wheels, and wheels for the light trailer towables market. The team is very proud to earn the new business, and welcomes the opportunity to share in its good fortune with available local talent.”
Maxion Wheels’ Sedalia plant is hiring for a variety of operational, maintenance and warehouse positions, offering extensive employee benefits including competitive pay, medical/dental/vision, 401K, professional development, gym membership, attendance bonuses, as well as incentives, and team building and well-being activities.
